From the video bio: ” “Tiger” is a song about meeting a stranger with fierce tiger-like energy that immediately draws you to them— that feeling of carnal excitement towards a commanding being. “Tiger” has an infectious guitar lick that was composed before its lyrics were penned. After an amazing date, I knew the theme of the lyrics would be a perfect match for the powerful lick I had in my bag. I envisioned the song to be lyrically animal-themed due to the nature of the chorus, drawing inspiration from power structures in nature and society: “sensitive boy,” “crocodile,” “pigeon” are examples. My guitar solo was improvised while recording “Tiger” at Greenpoint Recording Collective, drawing inspiration from guitarists Robert Quine and Ivan Julian’s angular solo on “Blank Generation” by Richard Hell and the Voidoids (one of my favs!). The rhythm section elusively starts the groove as it takes you on a journey that ends in a swirling rock n roll fantasy.” We hear they may have an upcoming EP on the horizon, so keep an eye & ear out!
