Anjali Rose’s upcoming album “The Worlds That Disappear” is out now! (Released 11/18)

Tapes & CD’s are available and in the words of Anjali Rose
“This album was originally recorded in the summer of 2019 in Studio Chocolat Chaud. This was Anjali’s third time recording in a studio but first time recording an entire album of her own work. Little did she know, Daniel Gelinás would keep microphones on of all the instruments set up in the space during morning practices. Some of these practices were then transformed into interludes and even songs such as “Always”
Since 2019, Anjali Rose has added and edited elements to the album while deepening her understanding of mixing to bring the project to where it is in now.
The World’s That Disappear is a homage to loss, to ending relationships, the passage of time and nostalgia.”

SURF ROCK IS DEAD – “drama” EP is out 12/9 on Born Losers Records

They have 3 singles out now “back and forth”, “tough love” & “so comfy”.
According to their ig account:
@surfrockisdead Announcing “drama” record release shows! 🥳

Friday 12/2 — Los Angeles — @baaderhouse
Thursday 12/8 — Brooklyn — @babysallright

~~ TIX IN BIO~~

As Surf Rock Is Dead says: “The name “drama” came to us when reflecting on the EP and thinking “wow, we sound dramatic as hell on these songs, don’t we?” “drama” conveys more moods and feels than our previous work —like that sinking feeling knowing that it’s time to end a relationship; old friendships in despair; hyper-irrational crushes; and losing one’s sense of identity–all voiced on the EP.”
We’re covering such a big range of emotions, “drama” just felt right. There’s also something about the iconic symbol of drama, the laughing and crying masks that represents the spectrum of emotion — beautiful and kind of creepy at the same time. Maybe just like the EP?

Baby Cool – Poison (Official Music Video)

Greenway Records: Baby Cool is back with a brand new single and video for ‘Poison’, one of my favorite tracks off the upcoming LP! Go take a listen now ☠️ ‘Poison’ is streaming everywhere!
“I wrote this song as a playful way to move through the feelings of rejection that can surface after a break up. The meaning has morphed into different things over time. Mostly it’s about expelling bad energy from your soul so that you can move through life a little lighter. I like to sing it to that painful voice of self loathing that surfaces whenever I’m feeling vulnerable in some way – that voice for me is the true poison.
Like the other tracks on Earthling on the Road to Self Love, we recorded Poison with Sam Joseph in his hinterland studio in the northern rivers of NSW. The arrangements were written and performed by Jess Ferronato and Nick Cavendish from Nice Biscuit, as well as Drew Heyden from psych rock outfit The Flamingo Jones. Sam wrote the amazing lead guitar that weaves it’s way through the track. The “ba ba’s” at the end were a spontaneous addition during recording. There was something really wholesome and equally hilarious about all of us standing around a mic and singing that part together.” – Baby Cool
